5 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Blender   January 6, 2008

The smartpower duet blender is working out very well for me. It makes a wonderful smoothie and makes very short work of chopping up veggies as well. Easy to clean and easy to use. I am very satisfied with its performance.

5 out of 5 stars Great duo!! Works wonderfully, clean up is easy!   December 24, 2007

This replaces my older Sunbeam Blender/Mixer/Food processor system, and it is hands down better than my Sunbeam, even though my old faithful Sunbeam lasted 15 years!! The blender glass is heavy duty, which is what I was looking for. The Food Processor slicer blade is the bomb!! So far I haven't found anything I don't like about this versital duo!!

1 out of 5 stars great idea BUT INFERIOR product   September 16, 2007

I was looking for just this combinaton but this product is well below what I am used to in Cuisinart's products. The "stainless steel" item is actually grey PLASTIC at the all important base; there is only a high and low button to control speed; the food processor leaks liquids and can only be used half-full. The power does not seem to coincide with rating and is barely sufficient to deal with most tasks. The blender/processor combination is a great idea but this is an inferior product that is VERY disappointing. Since you cannot control the speed expect food and liguids to fly as the top is not fully sealed.

3 out of 5 stars Broke the first week   June 8, 2007

Seems like it would be sturdy but it broke the first week making Margaritas for Mother's Day. I had to returned it and got another one and the LCD didnt work on the panel.

I give up, too much to pay for so many issues!
