Cooking Light Cookbook November 13, 2008 rwg (Atlanta, Ga. USA) This is a fantastic book for beginner cooks or accomplished cooks who want to eat healthier.
Every recipe we have tried we loved. The pictures and explanations make this a very user friendly cookbook. They have general information throughout the whole book to assist you too.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Even if you don't want to cook lower fat - the recipes are still delicious!
Cooking Light Complete Cookbook November 12, 2008 Victoria M. Gates (Cooperstown, NY) Cooking Light publications are always of a superior quality. I have been a subscriber to their monthly magazine for decades.
Best cookbook in my collection October 30, 2008 Allison Ray (Fort Lauderdale, FL) I have dozens of cookbooks that sit on the shelf - never used, but since I received this cookbook as a gift two months ago, I haven't put it away. Every single recipe is easy to follow and absolutely delicious. We haven't had one dissapointment yet. Each recipe includes a complete nutritional information chart. The meals are so full of flavor and taste even better than the high carb/fat/sugar meals you get in restaurants.

One of my Favorite Cookbooks for Cooking Light!! September 29, 2008 K. Diane (USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have several cookbooks and used colorful stickers to highlight recipes that I have tried and love. Needless to say, I am using a lot of stickers for this cookbook! Here is a small list of recipes I've tried and really liked: Pumpkin Dip, Sour Cream Coffee Cake, Blueberry Pancakes, Buttermilk Cornbread, Crisp Crusted Catfish and Potato Gratin with Goat Cheese and Garlic just to name a few. I am looking forward to making their Grilled Sourdough Cheddar Melts this week.
This cookbook is filled with healthy cooking hints and the section on "In Season" cooking covers cooking and using fresh vegetables and fruits in their peak growing season. The Kitchen Companion section covers such topics as "How to Make Perfect Cakes" and "Quick Fix Appetizers". This is really a complete cookbook!! I use it and refer to it often!! I think you'll like it.
