Other useful features include a convenient LED display, an easy-to-clean touch-control panel, a viewing window, and a steady base. Metal utensils should not be used with the removable baking pan, which should be washed by hand in order to protect its nonstick surfaces. 5 out of 5 stars Perfect bread first time   June 19, 2008
Frank Folkerts
Just receieved the TR888 breadmaker. Followed the directions exactly and made a perfect loaf of bread the first time. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The only way you could fail with this machine is if you don't follow the directions exactly. Clean up is very simple also. Can't wait to try making the other breads.

This bread machine is a real quality product. I have used it several times and it performs really well.

2 out of 5 stars Stay away!   April 30, 2008

This product kneads just fine (if somewhat long), but can't bake properly. Bread finishes undone and cake is burnt. Changing the settings doesn't help either. I would definitely stay away from this choice if you are looking for a good bread machine.

5 out of 5 stars Great value!   April 21, 2008

I have been using this product everyday for a couple weeks. I am never disappointed since I always use the recipes that came with the book and follow all directions such as checking at first need to feel the texture of the dough ball. I spend an average of 75cents per loaf since I make specialty loaves. I have used others and have to say this is the best thus far.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product -- Great Service -- Good Price   April 13, 2008
Richard L. Hayes (Pine Grove, California, USA)
Our DAK breadmaker died after 15 years of faithful service. We checked the Amazon website for breadmakers and selected the Breadman Corner Bakery. Within three days we'd received the breadmaker (even before the promised shipping date). In the past month we've used the breadmaker several times and each time the bread was excellent (both recipe bread and a packaged mix). We have not yet used the Breadman to mix cake batter or to mix butter but have no doubts that it'll do an excellent job. Thank you Amazon for the great service!
