Product Description This Digital Convection Toaster Oven in black and metal from Krups is ideal for limited kitchen space. Its baking function circulates heated air around food for a faster, more evenly distributed cooking result. It runs on 1600-watts of power to produce maximum heat. This toaster oven also features an illuminated LCD control panel with easy-to-use controls and high quality soft-touch buttons, six controlled cooking presets for one-step cooking and a reflective crumb tray to produce the best toasting results in a toaster oven. In addition, there is a precise temperature control, defrost function, and a digital clock. Its nonstick interior surface is easy to clean. The toaster oven includes a nonstick bake pan, broil tray, and thermal resistant tongs for safe removal of hot pans or food. It is constructed from a premium stainless steel housing.

Not So Good September 24, 2008 Jsheen (Fresno, CA USA) I have always had small toaster and or convections overs, to save money and don't always need the power of my new JenAir Kitchen I just had installed (LOVE IT). When I only cook for myself, I use the small oven (Krups). For the price this oven is a BIG BIG MAJOR flop, it gets hot all over when cooking, you can burn yourself, the door does not operate correctly, jams, when cooking the sides and top of the door and frame turn brown from cooking, instead of venting. This is what other write ups also say, I should have learned from their mistakes. My recommendation is that I would PASS on this Krups, especially for the price, where is the craftmanship, attention to details and quality of the product, it does not exist. This is the most expensive Convection and or toaster oven I have ever bought and would strongly recommend that you look at cheaper models with same features, and based on write ups like this one choose any maker but this one. Good Luck if you chose this turkey.
great product! September 15, 2008 J. Hunter (NYC) I had never owned a toaster oven, but when I moved into an apartment without an oven, I knew I had to find a great one. (I know, no oven. Shocking to most, but not unheard of for my fellow New Yorkers.) I love this toaster oven! I looked at dozens and agonized over which one to buy. I have been totally happy with my Krups. I have baked brownies and fish and toasted bagels and bread. Everything has turned out perfectly. No complaints!
better than cuisinart September 13, 2008 cooks for fun (Davis, CA USA) I bought this to replace an old cuisinart. It exceeds that cuisinart which I enjoyed using daily for several years. It still worked, but looked pretty bad. This Krups makes better toast and bakes as well, plus has a few more convenient design features. I've been using it regularly for a month.
Esther August 6, 2008 E. Atteberry So far I love this oven. Of course my previous oven was over 10 years old and it was not nearly this expensive. But this one heats much more evenly. I am still learning the controls so may work even better later. I like having racks that can be placed at various heights. It is also easy to clean.
I use my toaster oven more than any other kitchen appliance. I prefer food heated or cooked in a toaster oven to the microwave. This one does a great job on frozen food and grilled sandwiches.
The only incovenience (other than space taken on counter) is the timing which only seems to adjust in minutes and starts at 30 minutes. Since most of what I cook takes less than 10 this requires a large adjustment. May be a way to work around using the presets. I have to reread the instruction booklet. In the meantime I am using my kitchen timer that I used with my old oven and with my other cooking.
I would highly recommend this oven to anyone who uses a toaster oven in place of their regular oven if they have room on their counter (it does take a lot of space). Now it would be great if frozen food companies would start a line of frozen dinners and entrees for toaster ovens for us old timers who do not like what microwaves do to meat and bread.
First Toaster Oven - Satisfied! July 24, 2008 A. J. Stevens (Oregon, USA) It is our first toaster oven ever. So, of course I didn't know where to begin to find one. Thanks to the Internet, I read tons (took me a couple of days)of reviews and narrowed it down to about 2 or 3. Then, I went with this oven for its size and functions. By the way, the delivery was very prompt! I was literally counting minutes to get it -Anticipated!! I made some mistakes in the beginning of use; got olive oil on the quartz element, overcook chicken and steak...etc. But I don't regret buying this oven at all. Now I've got the hang of it, and know how to use it. :) Just make sure not to put anything on the top of the oven. I put bread after it was off, but since it was still hot, the vinyl got stuck on the oven surface and it took me couple days to remove it :'( I never put anything on the top anymore. :-D
