4 out of 5 stars Great Product   July 30, 2008
E. Hayes
These are definitely some great high protein bars. The only reason why they did not get a five is merely because the taste is a bit "sandy/grainy." No product is perfect, but out of all the protein bars I have tried, these are some of my favorite.

4 out of 5 stars Tasty Bar   July 3, 2008
Lisa Dixon (New York, NY)
I have enjoyed these very much. They have a high amount of protein for the calories, and lack any artificial sweeteners, which are present in some other bars. My criticisms are that they are chock full of sugar (non-refined, but sugar nonetheless), and lack much in the way of fats to give the bar some real sticking power. However, a nice purchase, and one I would make again.

5 out of 5 stars bleh!   June 13, 2008
N. Cintula (Staten Island, NY)
ordering 24 of these was a mistake, i was buying them in the store and eating every day for breakfast..so... i ordered 2 boxes of 12 from amazon.. ate 5 and got completely sick of them! i gave them all away at work. it will be years before i can try this flavor again.
i used to LOVE them! :(

1 out of 5 stars Allergic reaction anyone?   June 4, 2008

Less than ten minutes after swallowing a piece of the mysterious Odwalla bar, I was covered in a red rash, my ears burned, and I felt a tingle over my whole body. Even if I did not have the reaction this bar still tastes terrible (imagine horse grain and dirt). Do not buy OR try.

3 out of 5 stars No confusing this with a tasty tread   May 16, 2008

These are high in protein and other nutrients such that they make a useful snack or meal replacement. They would be improved if Odwala has not added salt.

Taste is, of course, subjective, but I find these bars
a) limp and soggy, and they sometimes stick to the roof of one's mouth
b) having a smell reminding one of old fashioned health food stores

Their very tastelessness is an advantage in that you won't be tempted to one of these until you really need to.
