Love it!!! August 8, 2008 S. Lazar I have had "built in" ironing boards for the last 20 years in three different homes and was always a little disappointed by the reduced ironing surface, but was willing to give that up to save space. When we built our new house, I was determined to find a full sized built in ironing board. After researching for several weeks, I purchased the Lifestyle wall mounted ironing center and couldn't be more pleased. The ironing surface is great and it takes up so little space when stored. Great item!
Absolutely the PERFECT item for my studio apt! January 5, 2008 L. Bluestone (New York, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I absolutely LOVE this neato invention! I live in a studio apartment in New York City and space is VERY tight. The full size board mounted easily to my concrete wall and has a very small profile allowing it to blend in seamlessly with my decor. Even after owning it for two years, I STILL get compliments on it, that is once people actually know what it is! Thank you for this marvelous creation!
Outstanding Product! Just what we needed. October 18, 2007 W. James Morrison 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We remodeled our small laundry room. We shopped for an ironing board that could mount onto a wall. Previously we had had our floor-standing ironing board in the laundry and it took up an entire wall. We put shelving on that wall as part of our remodel and searched for the ironing board that could now be mounted on that wall, too. The ironing boards that come in cabinets, mount either inside the wall or on its surface and are not very useful. They do not fold or swivel. They just come straight out, 90 degrees from the wall. When we saw the video of the Better Lifestyle Wall Mounted Ironing Center (full size), we were thrilled!. Someone had invented exactly what we needed. We could mount it on the shelving wall and it could be used straight out from the wall or parallel to it. We blocked securely behind the wallboard and could then fasten the ironing board securely to the wall & blocking behind it. It's functioned perfectly. We've had it for a year and a half. I usually use it parallel to the shelving wall. It fits between shelves like another shelf. If I have an item that is very long, I simply swivel the ironing board out over the floor. When it's swiveled out like that, it nearly touches the washer & dryer on the adjacent wall--that's how narrow our laundry is. But that is no problem. I iron away and then swivel it back parallel to the wall that it's mounted on. I hardly ever fold it up because it's like a shelf that I can fold laundry on. This ironing board is solid and large enough for our trousers and sheets. The space in our laundry is much better used!
Great Ironing center October 10, 2007 Fred Liska (Sherrills Ford, NC) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My wife and I bought this item directly from Better Lifestyles approximately 2 years ago and have been very pleased with it. It has held up well and is extrememly compact when closed. The ironing surface is long enough for me to iron my pants without having to constantly move the garment around to reach the entire leg. Great product and Gary Allen is a wonderful person to deal with. I highly recommend this ironing center and Better Lifestyles.
You won't be disappointed in the quality of this product October 8, 2007 CMM (Southeast IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought the Better LifeStyle ironing center a year ago - but our laundry room remodeling project took a bit longer than expected to complete :o( . We finally got the unit installed in August 2007 and we couldn't be happier. It is wonderful to have an ironing board that can be put to use and then put 'away' so easily. The hanging rack is a real PLUS. The quality of this product is excellent.
I would recommend this product to anyone building a new home or upgrading their present home. We are 100% satisfied with our purchase.
