Product Description This all-metal stand mixer comes with a host of accessories - a Flat Beater for cakes and cookies, a Dough Hook for bread and a Wire Whisk for whipped cream or pudding. The 4.5-qt. stainless steel bowl comes with a Pouring Shield that helps prevent splattering while in operation. The pouring shield has a built-in chute for adding ingredients. Powered by 400 watts, the stand mixer has a two-way mixing action to ensure all ingredients are incorporated into the mix. The quick-release, tilt-up head assists when removing the bowl. When you're ready for a kitchen re-do, don't call in the carpenters! Instead, "counterscape" your kitchen with Hamilton Beach's retro-designed, affordably priced electrics in happy, sun-saturated colors. Their "Eclectrics" line includes updates to those classic appliances from the 1950s.

HB Eclectric Mixer Review December 22, 2008 Kathy A. King (Minong, WI.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm pretty new to the mixer but I like it so far. It is quiet, it seems to be quite sturdy, and it looks good sitting on the counter. I wish the head release was more accessible. The release 'button' is located in the back and it is flush with adjoining surfaces. I also wish the head would swivel to the side thereby providing better or more 'open' access to the mixing bowl. Otherwise it's great and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great Mixer December 2, 2008 Gregory Thimgan (Lincoln, NE) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have had this mixer for a few years now and still love every time I use it. Great power and is built as well as the Kitchen Aids. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat. I dont dream about owning a Kitchen Aid anymore...I have my Hamilton Beach.
Hamilton Beach 63220 Eclectrics All-Metal 12-Speed Stand Mixer, Sterling Chrome November 8, 2008 LEE (Le Chateau, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Hamilton Beach (HB) mixer was our preferred choice out of dozens, bar none. With its die-cast metal parts and powerful 400-watt motor there were none in its price range that came close to this.
We were also considering the HB Commercial unit, which has nearly twice the power; however, the cost was more than double this one. The mixing bowl is quite large, motor is quieter than most, and several unlikely accessories are provided (i.e. splash guard, etc). Needless to say, we are v.happy with this purchase.
Excellent Mixer July 7, 2008 D. Wise (California, USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this purchase. After reading the reviews on this mixer and the not so great reviews on the different models of Kitchen Aid mixers I decided to purchase the Hamilton Beach. I couldn't see paying more money for a Kitchen Aid. The motor on this mixer is quiet compared to my friend's new Kitchen Aid Artisan. Some may complain that the finish on the this mixer is uneven. It's because it's all done by hand and I think it gives the finish character. It's easy to clean too. Don't be afraid to purchase this mixer, you won't regret it.
