Don't believe the negative reviews that you read here. If for some reason they are not satisfied with the product is because they either received a malfunctioning product.
I tried it for Thanksgiving and it worked perfectly. I had no problems with mine and my 16 lb turkey stood up without any problems. The turkey was done in about 2 1/2 hours compared to 4 hours if I had roasted it with just a roasting rack. The turkey was moist and juicy, of course the brine that I brined my turkey in for 36 hours helped a great deal. But this cannon is excellent and well made. When you first look at it you might think that it won't support up to 20 lbs, but it held up my bird quite well. Mine did not tip over and it fit the cannon just right. Just make sure that you have your bird secured the correct way so that you won't have any mishaps later while cooking it. The turkey roasts with a nice color and you can add any kind of beverage you prefer to infuse your bird. You won't be dissapoint it once you cook your turkey with this cannon. I think you won't ever go back to cooking your turkey any other way.

I didn't even receive the turkey cannon pictured. the one I was sent slides together and kept coming apart under the weight of the 14 lb. bird. Is supposed to handle up to 20 lbs. I would rate this a ZERO if I could!!

The Turkey Cannon was great. The bird cooked about 1 hour faster than normal and it was the most juicy, flavorful turkey I've ever had! Clean-up was easy too.

Wonderful product. No need for oil for fryers so there is less mess. Turkey is golden brown all the way around it. Cooks faster too.
