Serious range on these !! December 8, 2008 Lisa D. Lauretti (Connecticut) First off, don't worry about the comments on damage during shipping - the packaging on these protects them. Length - These would be especially good for campfires on the beach where due to the wind you may need to be farther from the fire than normal. You could probably fit two hotdogs on each one to save time if necessary.
I like them so much, I am buying more! September 1, 2008 S. Ebert (Harrisburg PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are exactly what I wanted. They are great for marshmallows and hot dogs. The wooden handle is sturdy and easy to hold. The length of the metal part is the right length, not too long but not too short that you are getting roasted yourself. The packaging issue another reviewer mentioned has been "corrected". They arrived in a HUGE box with tons of packaging paper. It was so overkill I had to laugh, but it arrived safely so I am not complaining. I am ordering more right now.
Not Good Shipping June 30, 2008 Harry Gross (usa) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
These sticks came in bent into a curved arc, they could have been packed and or shipped in a better container....
Firemaster Roasting Sticks 2-pack May 14, 2008 Jason Crandall 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just awsome. I got them for a campign trip and we used them for hot dogs, sauussage and smores on the fire. They really worked well. They also hold up to the heat extreamly well and did not warp or melt.
they do not have any ridges to hold food on the stick but the food stayed just fine without any. Plus it made gettign the food off the stick a lot eaiser.
My only suggestion is to start with a cold stick if you want to roast a marshmellow- otherwise the stick melts right thru.
