A rice cooker that cooks rice July 16, 2008 JDW (Montverde, FL United States) I wanted a simple small appliance that cooks rice. I got a simple small appliance that cooks rice very nicely. If you want more, buy something else.
Worth the money July 16, 2008 runsncooks Worth the money if you just want to make good rice. Does not have any other features that you may find useful, such as a keep warm setting, vegetable steaming option, etc. I love the easy clean-up and its small size so I can keep it on the counter. So far the non stick surface looks good, I have not seen any of the flaking that others are writing about. The pan in which the rice cooks feels a bit cheap, but it does the job and it does it well.
good but with a litter flaw July 16, 2008 Jack (Mount Pleasant MI USA) The cooker is very compact, easy to use, good interior material for cleaning. However, the only flaw is this cooker will make your rice a little bit drier than usual.
Nice Rice Cooker - but . . . July 15, 2008 Ruth T. Shapiro (Hanover, PA) Are we the only new owners who can't follow the instructions, which seem to be imperfectly translated from the Chinese? Will someone please tell us how many cups of rice to how many cups of water? We called Panasonic, but even they could not understand the directions.
Perfect at this price June 27, 2008 Edward C. Shanahan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Given the price, this is a great product. It's been in daily use for about a month now and no major issues. The teflon is thin, so be sure to avoid metal spoons, etc. when taking the rice out. It has been used to make brown rice exclusively, and it is fast and the rice tastes great.
