4 out of 5 stars Great rice cooker   August 4, 2008
M. Brous
We are very pleased with this rice cooker and steamer. Easy to use, cooks perfect rice everytime! It's a great value. No need to pay for a more expensive model.

1 out of 5 stars The wholesome taste of Teflon!   July 7, 2008
Michael Medlock (Portland, OR USA)
I tried making rice in this thing twice. Both times the rice smelled like Teflon and plastic. Not pleasant, and probably not safe to eat.

How this piece of garbage ever made it to the market is beyond me. The brand name "Aroma" is rather ironic.

5 out of 5 stars Sticking Problem SOLVED   February 7, 2008
Robin D. Brennan-moore
You can easily eliminate this problem with a light spray of Pam to the cooking bowl.

5 out of 5 stars It was not in use for 5 months, what a waste!!!   January 11, 2008
M. Johns
I let this rice cooker sit for 5 months and then I tried to give it away to my son, but he took too long to make up his mind (which worked in my favor). I tried the cooker one night with some chicken breast cooked in fresh garlic, onion, fennel and spice and chicken bouillon (half cube) and 2cups of water after cooking chicken and herbs. The rice came out perfect and I had always had trouble, but the white and brown Jasmine came out fluffy and tasted great with the chicken. I wasted time, but have used it every week (2-3) times. Easy to clean and now my son wants one.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy this product   January 6, 2008
MMJ (Tampa Bay, FL)
I bought this rice cooker about six months ago and it was what I wanted, a small but efficient product. Recently however the efficient part went away, the rice has started sticking to the bottom and get burn but the rest of the rice doesn't get cooked, this also causes the pan to become really hard to clean. The rice cooker is in good condition but it is a piece or garbage.
