| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Decorated with delicately drawn and colored flowers, this 700-watt appliance cooks up to 10 cups of rice and then automatically keeps the rice at the proper temperature for up to 12 hours. A locking lid ensures rice stays fresh and moist. Lights indicate whether the unit is in "cook" or "warm" mode, and turning on the cooker requires nothing more than pushing a lever. A nonstick coating on the cooking pan prevents rice from sticking, and the pan can be lifted out of the unit for cleanup. To eliminate clutter on the counter or in storage the power cord retracts under the unit. The cooker measures 12-1/8 inches in diameter and 12-7/8 inches high, and comes with a spatula, spatula holder, and measuring cup. --Fred Brack

Still using mine and it's been 11 years!!! June 13, 2008 Miss L C (Washington, DC) 11 years...I kid you not. My older sister got this for my mother as a gift one Christmas back in 96', and we've had it ever since. We must've moved 3 times and we still have it. We use it EVERY single day (it's an Asian thing) and it works every single time.
Perfect rice every time. Zojirushi makes fantastic kitchen appliances...I also have their bread machine which I got just last year. Hopefully that'll last me 11+ years as well!
Perfect rice every time! May 30, 2008 Fitness Fan (Illinois) This cooker is worth every penny. Has been making perfect, effortless rice every time in no time at all. This is a must have for busy parents. Love it!
Don't buy a digital rice cooker, Buy this one. April 12, 2008 Andrew Mountain (Vancouver, BC Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Cooks rice fast--twice as fast as the digital cookers!
I had the older model Zojirushi 10-cup--I thought it was perfect. Nope, this one is better. They have made this one easier to clean (wider water trough, wider drip recepticle so you can fit a finger in now). Also you can cook only 2 cups of rice if you want (the old one said minimum was 3 cups).
just like a good Thai restaurant November 9, 2007 Joy Tiggemann (Minneapolis, MN) This cooker made the best rice. I love to cook and this was just great and looks great sitting on my counter as I use it often. I would definately buy this again. Joy
GREAT PURCHASE! May 19, 2007 M. QUINENE 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the best rice coker i've ever bought. Lid seals super air tight and the retractable chord is a nice feature.
