I bought this steamer to replace a different brand steamer that I returned due to poor design.
This one has worked like a charm.
I like the roomy 2 tiers that fit together well and the built-in egg holders. I also found I prefer the manual turn dial to the electronic ones that are available on other types of steamers -- I have not had any issues with it malfunctioning.
The steaming begins almost immediately and the unit does not need to be taken apart to add water.

I use this steamer on an almost daily basis. I love it and would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for one small complaint. The reservoir tends to become slightly stained by - and hold the odor of - whatever is being steamed. Cleaning it with vinegar helps.

this is a great steamer for the price, 75 min timer, see thur water level. you can cook anything in this thing, veggies in one level, lobster, fish, etc on the next level, easy clean up too. i give it 5 stars

We have used this steamer for well over a year. It has worked very well. The oval shape lets you fit in whole ears of corn with no problem. My only complaint is the rubber feet on the bottom keep comming off. Of the original 6 I have only 1 left so it tips some. (If they have recently fixed this I will rate it 5 stars)

After only a few weeks of use, the mechanical timer broke. It would time to about 10 min left, then stop counting. Then it stopped counting altogether. Made in China?
