5 out of 5 stars Nice Little Oven   January 4, 2009
Nina (Colorado Springs, CO)
I've used this toaster oven daily for about 10 months. It bakes well - I've made cakes, cookies, and pies in it. I turn down the temperature about 25 degrees because convection ovens cook faster. It's done a great job cooking small beef & pork roasts as well as broiler chickens. (It's not large enough for a roasting chicken.)

It doesn't toast as well as a regular toaster, but I've never had a toaster oven that did. I still use a toaster for toast. After 10 months, the timer is still working fine.

5 out of 5 stars works like a good mini convection/toaster oven should.   December 30, 2008

I have now had this oven for 1 1/2 years and it has been nothing but exceptional.
It toasts fine, cooks, warms, etc.
The temp on the dials are off about 25 degrees, but that is no biggie.
Use it for everything. and almost daily with no problems.
Knobs are all on, heats as it did on day one and can toast bread..not as fast as a toaster, but so what?
You must make sure for toast that it is on the 450 degree mark and you put the dial to "toast" and not "bake"..which I will bet most of the toast probs are attributed to for other posters.
I use it for Toast, potatoes, cooking chicken, pizza, etc.
Has been great for the price and works much better than my Piece-O- crud black and decker did.

Top does get very hot, but that has always been my experience with toaster ovens.
Good amount of size for a toaster oven. Can fit a casserole dish and an 8x8 glass pan, just a bit short for a rectangle glass pan.

My experience has warranted a recommendation and I would buy again without hesitation.

1 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS FOR TOASTING!!   December 16, 2008

I bought this for all the reasons you buy a toaster oven. I did not want to heat my entire restaurant-sized oven for kids' meals, etc.
BUT we all also eat toast/bagels every morning. this was a HUGE problem, considering one slice of toast took 20 minutes to barely crisp.
the oven part is fine, but buy yourself a separate toaster if you're doing any toasting.

I've had this toaster oven for over a year and have had to replace the timer switch twice. Overall features are fine, but it's designed to, after the warranty period ends, be tossed in the trash.

I purchase my first EuroPro convection oven, nearly identical to this one in 2004 at a clearance store. It was an impulse buy. I found I used it almost exclusively for cooking dinners for me and my son, forsaking the conventional range oven and the outdoor Webber gas grill. After four years of use the switches started to go bad, so I bought a replacement Black and Decker Convection. Hated it, took it back. Went online to get this one and I am very pleased with it, as I was with the first. The 60 minute timer was a welcome improvement over the old 15 minute one... otherwise it is the same pleasing and useful product.
