I love this oven! December 21, 2008 C. burkhart (USA) I've had mine for nearly a month now and am using it nealy everyday for something. We bought the one with all the features. I've really been giving the rotisserie a workout. This is the next best thing to having a real Wolf convection oven and will tide me until we are in a place large enough for one. Now to workout a perfect garlic bread recipe! We are having a wonderful time testing recipes!
It almost burned my motor-home down December 4, 2008 Stewart E. Davis (USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
It probably is a great product if you get a good one. It arrived two days ago. The first thing I did was to check the oven temperature. I set the dial to 375 degrees and turned the selection dial to the convection broil/bake setting, the oven operated as expected. Yesterday I made pizza and broiled a chicken. Today I did something different however, I set the temperature to the bake setting at 270 degrees "NON CONVECTION" and watched the thermometer get pined over six hundred degrees it just kept climbing. It got so hot that it began to warp the oven tray that was sent with the unit. If I hadn't turned it off it probably would have melted into/onto itself. I suggest trying all the selection settings in conjunction with the temperature dial and make sure that it works properly when you receive it. In addition, MAKE CERTAIN YOU BUY AN OVEN THERMOMETER and put it inside the unit to check the actual temperature.
NEVER LEAVE THIS PRODUCT UNATTENDED!!!!!!
That's the bad news. Lets talk about how great Amazon is. I always try to buy everything directly from them. That's why, in the five minutes it took to get online and go to the Amazon site I was printing out the return authorization label and the shipping label (no charge to me)to send this killer back to Amazon. While I was printing the labels a new unit was being processed for delivery to my motor-home.
As I said, it probably is a great product. Because I bought it from Amazon directly they Amazon made it effortless to send this one back and try one more. What a great company they are.
Mostly a great oven December 1, 2008 Edward Dicesare (Chester County PA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Just purchased this to replace a Toastmaster digital unit that quit 3 weeks before Thanksgiving.
First the good points: this oven heats food evenly, comes up to temperature fairly fast and has a very quiet convection fan. The compartment has a bright light, a real plus. Although it lacks a temperature readout, I was able to "calibrate" the dial on mine with an oven thermometer. It pretty consistently heated to the correct temperature if the pointer was set to the left digit on the dial (e.g. if you want 350 degrees set the pointer to the "3" in "350" etc.) The middle shelf position has stops to prevent the rack from tipping under a heavy load as it is pulled forward. The baking stone works very well on pizzas.
Now the stuff that needs improvement: The drip pan that comes with the oven twists and distorts shape when heated. This is a real nuisance. The gauge of the metal used is pretty thin, and should be better quality.
Unless I missed something in the owner's manual there's no easy way to replace a burned out bulb in the oven's interior. I can take the unit apart and would do so when the bulb quit but for the average user this might be a bit daunting.
Exterior of the unit gets HOT, although the manual warns about this. More a caution than a complaint.
Overall I was very pleased with the quality of everything baked in this oven so far: casseroles, stuffed fish, potatoes, pizza etc. The convection setting was much quieter, and browned faster and more evenly and than my two previous units (Toastmaster and DeLonghi).

We love this product. It heats quickly and evenly, and is large enough for almost everything we make. This is ideal for the two-person home.

I can't believe how well this oven works. Make my Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day without the hassle of adding water for steam. Love, love ,love it. Once considered buying a clay insert for my regular oven, but this does that job and more. Cannot believe how well it works for a 2 person family. Only had this a short time, so I imagine loving it more as I use it!!!!!
