I have moved to whole and organic cooking and eliminating plastic etc. I bought 2 of these and I love them! I never buy salad dressing from the store any more and don't have to worry about leftover stains or odors like I would on plastic!!

I've been pleased with the salad bottle in general. However, when replacing the top, once the bottle contains dressing, tilt the topper slightly as you place it on the bottle. Otherwise, air pressure inside the bottle tends to make the top pop off. There is a small amount of dripping from the lip after pouring, but that can easily be wiped away. The bottle is a nice size and holds a cup or more of dressing easily.

My wife recently started making her own salad dressing because of the better taste and control over the ingredients. But, she was storing it in our measuring cup. So, the kids and I bought this bottle for her and now everybody's happy. We've got our measuring cup back and she's got a great place to mix and store her homemade dressing. The bottle works well. The stopper does not leak when shaking the dressing. The dressing pours without dribbling down the side and the whole thing is dishwasher safe.
