Product Description MIU France 2-piece yellow silicone potholders, item # 99095. These silicone pot holders are a great kitchen accessory. They are great for removing hot pots from the stovetop or baking trays from the oven. It can also be used as a trivet to protect countertops from the heat of hot pots. The silicone is heat resistant up to 650?F. These potholders are dishwasher safe. Each potholder is 7-inches by 7-inches.

Seemed like a good idea February 26, 2007 A. Borchers 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Perhaps it's just me, but I just can't get used to these. While they are effective in the heat-proof department, and I've taken to using them as trivets, the silicone just can't wrap around a pot handle the way my trusty terry-cloth pot holders can.
excellent product, highly recommend April 17, 2006 Amalfi Coast Girl (Mid-Atlantic, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I absolutely love these potholders!!!! I have four sets of them. They are great as potholders but they also have other uses. I place them under cutting boards to keep them from sliding on the counter when I am chopping. I also use them to keep bowls firmly on the counter if I am whipping cream. I also use them as trivets when placing hot pans on my counter top.
My only caution regarding this product is that you need to be aware of the location of the hole in one corner of the potholder. I didn't pay attention one day and got a nasty burn pulling a very hot pan out of the oven. If you are a bit of a klutz, like me, best to keep 100% aloe in the house just in case you do what I did. Repeated applications of aloe took the burn out of the fingertip in a few hours. I was very fortunate. I hope this doesn't happen to you.
I highly recommend this product.
Good quality February 24, 2006 Christina T (Los Angeles, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these because I wanted silicone trivets, but it was cheaper to get a set of potholders. Actually I haven't seen any that are cheaper, especially since you mostly only have the option of buying one at a time. I love that they double as potholders, trivets, and jar openers. I wasn't convinced they'd make a good jar opener, but I tried it and they work! I gave the product four stars only because as trivets I don't think they are the best looking to have on your dining table.
