Needed for a pizza stone. The peel is perfect and the cutter works extremely well for cutting, better than I thought it would!!

Very nice set for the price. I haven't used other pizza peels so I'm not able to compare but I've been happy with this one. Occasionally I wish it were bigger to make bigger pies, but nonetheless I think it's a good item. The pizza cutter is amazing! Much, much, better than the metal disc ones.

My wife and I really love this pizza cutter. You wouldn't think that wood could cut through a pizza, but it does it better than any other pizza cutter I've ever seen. The price is right and it makes a great gift.

I'm old fashioned when it comes to tools, in the kitchen, in the garage, wherever. I have been using a metal pizza wheel cutter my whole life, like the saying goes: "If it ain't broke...". But I was never really happy with the cutting wheel. Sometimes you have to make several passes, cheese and sauce builds up on the wheel, inhibiting it's use and making it difficult to clean. Also, whatever surface is under the cutter when you use it gets scored by the wheel too. I was reluctant to buy a wooden pizza cutter, thinking that it was just another gimmick, but decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did, you not only get a smooth even cut ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE PIE but you can do it in one pass. You can even use the cutter to serve the slice. The peel is just another necessity if you like to cook pizza at home like I do. It makes moving the whole pie in and out of the oven so much simpler. Both the cutter and peel are made from cooking grade teak so they are hard, and have a tight grain making them very easy to clean, and the cutter leaves no marks underneath - just cuts your pizza. I'm glad I bought this set, the price was right and now I can't believe I got by for so long without them.
