 Easy to Use, Easy to Store December 22, 2009

I had these on my wedding registry and now I can't live without them. They store easily, taking up much less room in the cupboard than previous plastic-versions I have used. They easily go from fridge to microwave and the steamer lid is excellent for microwaving. My food also seems to stay fresher longer than plastic storage containers. Now I just need a set in square shapes!

This is a decent set, but the lids leak overtime and I find the lids and the containers to be a little larger and bulkier to store. I still use them, but I'm probably going to replace with the blue lid standard version for cabinet space and a more airtight seal.

I love this set of bowls! The bowls have a lip that makes it easy to pick up with wet hands and not have to worry about dropping them.
The lids are ARE AIRTIGHT, but you have to make sure you snap them completely down on both sides of the bowl because the lids fit tightly. I also like the gray colored lids.

I love these bowls. Lids are easy to get on and off. The vent lets you heat up leftovers easily. Bowls are good sizes. I would definitely recommend.

I bought a 4 set (2 small, 2 large) while the glass is wonderful for storage - these are NOT airtight - these are NOT leakproof. This is a disaster when packing lunches, or taking a dish to a potluck, or for simply storing foods. I have had them leak in the fridge when simply transferring them with leftovers from the counter to the fridge. When storing baked goods including breads, rolls, muffins, or cookies they dry out. Not acceptable.
They microwave and freeze wonders, but I am extremely frustrated that having paid [.........], Pyrex can't figure out how to provide leakproof and airtight lids. These fail miserably. Heed the call, Pyrex.
